MOOKI CREAMERY

PHOTOGRAPHY / LOGO DESIGN / BRAND IDENTITY / PRINTED ADVERTISEMENTS / TYPOGRAPHY

Mooki Creamery

The name Mooki is a play on the italian word Mucca, meaning cow and "Moo." The goal was to create a clean and contemporary brand identity but in a way that feels playful and creative.

Not only does the black and white color scheme reference a cow's hide, but was done to convey the timelessness and tradition that ice-cream making is known for.

THE WORLD OF ART, HERE.

ILLUSTRATIONS / AD DESIGN AND CONCEPTUALIZATION

The goal of this campaign was to inform and inspire both locals and tourists that one does not have to travel halfway across the globe to enjoy world renowned art, hence the slogan The World of Art, Here

Upon opening its doors in 1879, The Art Institute of Chicago has acquired one of the largest and most diverse collections of art in the world, positioning itself among big names like Louvre, Metropolitan and Prado.

Each illustration aims to resemble an airplane window, traveling through the beautiful landscapes painted by Van Gogh, Magritte, Dalí and Escher. Done in a contemporary, minimal style as a way to bring a fresh perspective to easily a few of the most recognized paintings in the world.

Frida Querida

FRIDA QUERIDA

LOGO DEISGN / MENU DESIGN

Inspired by the rich and colorful culture of Puebla Mexico, Frida Querida draws its name from the beloved Frida Kahlo and her transcendental legacy which is just as relevant today as it was 50 years ago.

The logo pays tribute to the purple, pinks & oranges prevalent during El Día de Los Muertos celebration, as well as the Talavera skulls which remain an iconic staple of the Mexican culture.

The flower crown is often associated with Kahlo as she often painted herself wearing one and the personalized typography seems to not take itself too seriously, reminding people that Frida Querida is a family-friendly accessible restaurant with good food nonetheless.

The menus depict classical scenes of the Mexican day-to-day, such as the humble beginnings of the women who harvest its soil and the Agave and Aloe plants make a big part of the Mexican terrain.
